Mandate: Mission from the Gods

Jae Hee Mandate MovieIn the past decade, there had been a continuous serial rape murder cases in Whagoklee village which is almost now in ruins. The police can’t find a clue regarding on this case and the number of villagers residing in that town were rapidly decreasing. The police decided to abandon the case and reported it as nothing had happened for the past two years.

Until one day when an incident happened that two college women were raped and murdered, the villagers were frightened and startled. Choi Kang (Jae Hee) known as one of the famous and best ghost hunter in Korea came to the village to investigate the crime scene. He insisted that it was not by an evil spirit (an incubus) not by a man. However, the police squad leader Lee (Shim Won-cheol) laughed as if it was a joke, told him to go away and never come back in town.

Journalist Shin (Yoo Da-in) came to the village to know the incident. She was destined to become a Shaman but she refused and chose to become normal. The priest who had helped her to become an ordinary person gave her an old camera that can trap a spirit with just a single shot of it. Because of the camera, Shin also became a famous Korean ghost hunter but no one knows that Journalist Shin and Famous ghost hunter Shin are one.

These two persons, Choi Kang and Shin, only knew who’s responsible on this incident. Can they get to the bottom of this crime and capture the ghost criminal?

Famous Korean actress Song Hye-kyo played the role as a well-known 16th century Gisaeng, Hwang Jin Yi (the Movie). Jin Yi is the most legendary courtesan of th Joseon Dynasty and noted for her dazzling beauty, clever and remarkable intellect.

Before Hwang Jin Yi became a Gisaeng and changed her name as Myeong-wol, she was a daughter of a noble family and educated as a well upper-class woman. She had a close friend, Nom Yi (Yoo Ji-tae), a slave in the house who was punished and expelled from her house because Jin Yi was so curious on what’s on the streets and swayed Nom Yi to bring her outside to take a look around.

When both now have grown up and Jin Yi’s father passed away, Nom Yi came back to the family as a steward to be near with his beloved. Jin Yi was about to marry a very rich man but it was cancelled right away when news spread out that she was the daughter of a maid in Hwang’s house.

The Kingdom of the Winds

the kingdom of the windsAnother Korean drama and Fantasy with 36 episodes that tells about Jumong’s Grandson, Moo Hyul, who was born with a curse to kill his parent, siblings, son and destroy Goguryeo. Song Il Gook portrayed Moo Hyul who had also portrayed Jumong in "Jumong - Prince of The Legend" in 2006. His love interest is Princess Yeon and a skilled physician of Buyeo portrayed by Choi Jung Won.

The chief sorceress of Goguryeo informs King Yuri (Jung Jin Young) to kill his own son, Moo Hyul, but he was powerless of doing it. He instead instructed his eldest son, Crown Prince of Goguryeo, Prince Hae Myeong (Lee Jong Won) to bring his child away to detach all his ties with Moo Hyul. Prince Haemyeong could not stand on throwing away his baby brother. So, he asked his love interest, Hye Ap (Oh Yoon Ah), the chief decorator of King Jumong's burial chamber, to bring up Moo Hyul and King Yuri is unaware of this. Prince Haemyeong went back to peek Moo Hyul when he become an adult giving him a chance to become a soldier of Goguryeo. The brothers wish is to slay King Daeso of Buyeo.
